Meet Dr. Scott Adams

Dr. Scott Adams was raised in Columbia City, Indiana, and attended Whitko High School where he graduated as Salutatorian of his class in 1990. He went on to attend Hanover College where he was a four-year letterman in basketball, earning All Conference honors his Junior and Senior year. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with minors in Philosophy and Physical Education. Following undergraduate, Dr. Adams went on to pursue his education, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1998.

Dr. Adams’ focus is providing quality dental care in a friendly, low-stress atmosphere while utilizing the latest in advanced technology. His continuing education focus has been the latest dental techniques, involving immediate implant placement, endodontics, Invisalign clear aligners, sedation dentistry, CEREC same-day crowns, and Botox treatment. He especially enjoys oral surgery and implant placement, having completed an intensive 6-week training course in 2011. Dr. Adams has been providing dental implants to patients for the last 11 years.

Dr. Adams has recently moved to Bloomington in order to be closer to family after living in Carmel, Indiana for the last 25 years. He and his wife of 22 years, Marrianne, have two children together. His daughter Sophie is a tattoo artist and his son Paul is a sophomore in high school. Dr. Adams ran a successful practice in Carmel for 18 years prior to moving to Bloomington. He was named best local dentist by Nextdoor in 2019 and 2021, and most recommended practice in 2022.
