Meet Dr. Mark Carter
DDS
Dr. Mark Carter was raised in Berkeley Springs, WV and attended Berkeley Springs High School where he graduated as Salutatorian in 2009. He went on to attend West Virginia University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated summa cum laude in 2013. During his time at WVU, Dr. Carter played intramural football and enjoyed backpacking, hiking, and camping with West Virginia Adventures. Following undergraduate, Dr. Carter went on to continue his education, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2017.
Dr. Carter has recently moved to Bloomington in order to be closer to family after living in Marietta, Ohio for the last 6 years. His brother, Christopher, is a pathologist for IU Health in Bloomington. Dr. Carter was part of a successful three doctor group practice prior to joining Bloom Dental, and is looking forward to continuing to work in a group practice setting. Dr. Carter and his wife Madaline have recently welcomed their first child, a boy named Sullivan.
Dr. Carter takes pride in providing the highest level of patient care while building strong relationships with patients and the community. His clinical focus is on providing the latest dental techniques including implant placement, root canal therapy, Invisalign clear aligners, sedation, CEREC same-day crowns, and TMJ treatment.
